Who thinks that toyota is taking over the world?

I think that toyota is going to take over the world, they have already taken the automobile world, what's next?Who thinks that toyota is taking over the world?Toyota is getting too big for their own good. They are just like GM was in the 70s. Thinking everything is going right and ignoring the quality problems that popped up as they stretched their resources too far.

Them (Japanese) taking over the US auto market will destroy our country. Millions of people work for the Big 3 and their suppliers would lose their jobs. A few thousand would find a job with the hand full of plants the Japanese built here.Who thinks that toyota is taking over the world?
You maybe right my friend,i live here in jacksonville,fl and they come in of the ship by the thousands, plus i know several people work out there taking them off the ships.it not looking to nice is it.,y cant we sell more cars to them than we take in.Hmmmm something to think aboutWho thinks that toyota is taking over the world? Not me. I'm pretty sure it's WalMart.
I don't. It wouldn't be so bad though. They know how to build a damn good car, I'm sure the world would be a better place under rule of the Imperial Toyota Empire.Who thinks that toyota is taking over the world?I think China is taking over the world, and 'American' retailers are helping them. Toyota, on the other hand, is merely building the car we want. No problem there.Who thinks that toyota is taking over the world?
why when a foreign car company takes over The top sales position in th US the question is posted will they take over the world? They make a quality car that lasts, they may not be the vehicles that get modified to the hilt, but,if you want a long lasting and in my opinion a nice looking lineup of models buy a Toyota. I have owned just about everything(except dodge) and own a Tacoma now and I Think its the best vehicle I have owned.
That should be YAHOO joke of the day.

Yota is not impressive - they are low budget POSWho thinks that toyota is taking over the world?
The bottom line is that Toyota will be the largest automaker in the world, some predict as soon as 2012, my guess is sooner. There is only one reason - more people buy their cars than any other company. Must be because they make a superior product. I grew up in Lansing, MI and you would not believe the stories about the GM shoprats who would have to shut down the line because the union wanted to throw their weight around. Or how many of them went across the street to the liquor store to slam a pint of whiskey during their break.

The running joke which really is sad is that you never buy a GM car built on a Monday or a Friday, cause the workers were either drunk or hungover. I know this isnt true for all of them but it was a huge problem during the 80's and 90's. That's why people stopped buying American cars folks.
Don't be goofy. Although they where the best selling car maker in the 1st quarter of 2007, GM outsold them 2nd quarter. So no!
im not sure they are taking over the world...but if it bothers people then QUIT buying their product...if we stop buying then they will faulter...i agree..they ar buying into a lot of world businesses and its the peoples fault for selling to them...money talks...B.S. walks...and lets not forget the arabs (i think they are) buying gas stations andquick marts all over the country....very little is american owned any more..too bad..but i still love this country...beam me up scottie
With the UAW in power of the North American auto market, they just can't compete with The Japanese
Who thinks that Toyota is taking over the world?...Probably the executives at GM,Ford, and Chrysler.
nah. toyota is good but only reason is because of gas prices these days. Most of the sales for American cars are big trucks meaning right now there aren't many people buying them.
Toyota might keep the car market up front. The big three all had that option but nooooo They had to let the union run things. Well maybe now that the qualty and jobs went south, aww and to mexico lol the big three can start makeing toys. And get there workers back on the hundred grand a year boat.
I think in automotive world, Toyota is definitely becoming the Microsoft.

However, it has cost them as well in terms of quality and possibly reliability. As they've become a bigger company, they have a hard time keeping up with the demands. For instance, late model Lexuses such as GS is having fit and finish issues as evidenced by rattle issues. The new Camry's quality has gone down as well. Most importantly, they're having major issues with the V6 trannies on Camry and ES350.

But I also have faith in that Toyota will address these issues in a timely manner.
now that is funny lmao

I have never owned a foreign make in my life and hope i never do.
