How do you remove a starter on a 1990 toyota pick up?

can some one plz help me!!!! i cant take the starter out of my 1990 toyota pick up to many tiight spots i just need to figure out if i need to disconect or remove something else so that i can git it out because its not working the way im doing it i got every thing disconnected but still in there stuck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!How do you remove a starter on a 1990 toyota pick up?i suggest rolling it on it's top...Japanese quality ha ha haHow do you remove a starter on a 1990 toyota pick up?First drop the down pipe from the exhaust manifold. Un-bolt the left motor mount. Then jack up the engine with a hoist. The motor will lean to one side since the other mount is still attached. This should give enough room to gain access to the starter and give it an area to slide out from.
