Can I trade in a 1995 Toyota Corolla at a GM /Ford Chrysler dealer?

I want to trade-in my Toyota, and buy a Pontiac or a Chevy (or a Chrysler/Dodge). Do I have to go to a Toyota dealer or attempt to sell it as a private seller? Can I trade in a 1995 Toyota Corolla at a GM /Ford Chrysler dealer?yes you can trade it in.but first find out from Kelly's Blue Book how much it's worth as is. it make be worth your while selling it on your own. Alot is based off what dealer will give you for your trade...does it have high miles, is the motor/transmission in good condition,is there any frame damage, body damage, paint work, rust?? The dealer will more than likely take your car down to an auto auction if you trade it in. What kind of $ they decide to give you for it will be how much they think it will bring at auction. Auction prices are based on avability of car(is it a common car or hard to find), and the condition of the car. If they are gonna have to put $$ into it (brakes, exhaust) that will factor into the price too. It's mostly your call. see how much it's worth and how much they offer, and if it's close to the value thentrade it. if it less than value then sell it on your own for value or $100 over then use money as down payment for new car. Good luck and i hope this was helpful. Can I trade in a 1995 Toyota Corolla at a GM /Ford Chrysler dealer?

Good Luck!!!Can I trade in a 1995 Toyota Corolla at a GM /Ford Chrysler dealer?yes any dealership will take differents cars than the ones they sell but you probably wont get what its worth if its in good cond. try selling it in a private saleCan I trade in a 1995 Toyota Corolla at a GM /Ford Chrysler dealer?
You can trade in any caar that has value to any dealer that excepts trades. If you look at the used car section of a Ford dealer or a GM dealer they will have cars of all types. Thye will likley not resell a car as old as yours themselves but they will sell it wholesale to smaller used car dealers.
Almost any dealership will accept trade ins of any make or model. You should be able to unless that particular one has a rule aginst it.Can I trade in a 1995 Toyota Corolla at a GM /Ford Chrysler dealer?
You can trade any car at any dealer....You have a better chance trading your car in. I know that where I live, there are several dealers who offer $3000 towards the purchase of a new car on a trade.
You are better off selling it at CarMax. There it is a separate transaction from the new purchase. Take it in and have them write it up. The price is goof for a few days and a few hundred miles. Then go to Gm and have them quote you a price using the car or using the money CarMax offered you as a down payment.

I hate shopping for cars. Good Luck.
Any dealer will take in your car as a trade in.

However, some recommend that you DO NOT mention you have a trade in car until you have agreed to a price for the new car. Why? Well some dealers will factor in the trade in when negotiating the price of the new car.
No you don't have to go to a Toyota Dealer. Whatever dealer ship you go to will take your car as a trade in if its in good condition. They will put your trade in on the used lot to sell or offer it in one of their auctions. However you might get more for your car if you sell it on your own. I use to work at a dealership and this is what would happen. Good Luck with your new car!
You can trade in a bicycle at a dealership, if they think it will help make a deal (someone actually did this at my old dealership!)

You WILL get more money selling it yourself. Dealers buy at low bluebook values and sell at high. Why cheat yourself out of the difference? Since it is a '95 Corolla, you won't get much from a dealer I am afraid, even if it is in great shape. It is older, and a common car. Just put an ad in the paper, or on craigslist, you will see what people will pay pretty quick.
you can sell it as a private seller or trade it in ,either way will work on that one,any dealer will take any car as a trade in but you,ll get more money from selling it as a private seller,a dealer wont give you what the car is worth they never do,i think if it was me id try and sell it on my own then buy what i wanted,or just go ahead and buy it and sell the used one after you buy the other one,a 95 model will sell good, good luck with it hope this helps.
you can but most likely they will offer you less than the Kelly's Blue Book value of your car, when if you try to sell it by yourself you could get a better deal.
Sure! They will take it. All or 99.9 will take in any make, Just understand when you trade something in you are basically giving it to them because a trade in results in them sticking to their top dollar asking or retail price. So i would keep the car and sell it outright to someone and then you can negotiate with them on the one you want. GOOD LUCK!!!
you can trade any car at any dealer anytime.
