Why do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?

I was doing a little research on the pre-owned %26amp; 2008 Lexus, and eventhough a lot of people were saying that it is a wonderful vehicle , a lot have complained about having some transmission issues(it slips alot). then i went to Toyota, and read some reviews on the Camry, Solara, and even the Avalon, they all stated the same thing. since Toyota makes Lexus, i was wondering has anyone else experience the same problems? I am not a big fan of Japanesse vehicles(only american and european) but i do like the design of the Lexus, and the Toyota, Solara and Avalon. so what my question is, beside reliability, and that is what Lexus and Toyota is known for, if i desided to get one would i run into problems with the transmission? Why do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?transmissions are tricky since they are usually a closed system and never need to be worked on during the life of a car. however, most people who know cars recommend a transmission flush at 50k miles for a manual and 100k miles for an automatic. check the nhtsb website for any transmission recalls about the cars you are looking at. usually a consistent problem will trigger a recall. if there isnt one, buy the car and be sensible with it. most engine problems can be avoided by prudent driving. AND REGULAR MAINENANCE. full fluid flushes every 30k miles. synthetic oil every 5k miles. take care of your car and you shouldnt have any problems. Why do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?
you may not know how to driveWhy do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?if its an automatic you probably might but all automatic cars have transmission problems unless you've been in a huge accident with car it should work perfectlyWhy do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?
BUY A HONDA ACCORD, BETTER RIDE FOR YOUR BUCKS.Why do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?rebel that's a very broad statement not true. it is true that manufacturers use similar designs for different models but if there is a flaw it's probably fixed in the year after. Why do TOYOTA Productions seem to have transmission problems?
The problem is the driver.

If you can be content with driving in a sane manner the transmissions will last.

But if you try to out run everything on the road, the transmission will fail.

If you want to drive like a race car driver you have to maintain them like a race car driver. For a professional drag racer the life of the transmission may be only 1/4 mile. For a road racer 24 hours. For a NASCAR driver 500 miles.

It is the nut attached to the steering wheel that is causing these transmission failures more then the design.
