Where were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured?

The Toyota's that were built in Japan aren't having the problems that the ones in America are.

I've heard that the parts causing the problems were American. Is this true?Where were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured? The problems with the sticking accelerators are with the American made CTS pedals. The reason they are a different design than the Denso pedals on the Japan vehicles is the patent that Denso holds on its pedal. The reason they have different vendors is due to the output capacity of the company. For example Denso cannot make enough pedals to supply all of Toyota (and other manufacturers such as Honda). Another reason is taxes, if they produce the products locally they don't have to pay international taxes on the pedals when they would be shipped in from Japan. They contracted CTS (who makes pedals for many manufacturers) to make them a pedal so the supply would be local to the many Toyota plants that are in the U.S.Where were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured?
The recall pedal is "American Made" but NOT USA made. The company is based in US but the pedals in question are actually "made" in a factory located in Canada - just for clarification.

Where were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured?Would Japan admit to having a problem!

Hey JOSHUA, I worked on three car's today. A Toyota Yaris. A Toyota RAV-4. And Chevy Tahoe.

BOTH Toyota's were built in JAPAN. The Chevy Tahoe was built in WISCONSIN!

Not at all joshua, I'm just sick of people pretending that no American cars are made in America anymore or something. Ofcourse GM makes cars in Canada and Mexico. But so does Toyota and VW. My best childhood friend drove a fork lift in the Kentucky Toyota plant which was a promotion over working on the assembly line.

But the Chrysler plant here near St. Louis, MO. just closed recently. They made the Ram pick-up and Caravan.
Yes and Toyota chose and approved the design from top to bottom and approved, even enforced the installation.

So to sum it up the Americans were forced to build and install them exactly like the Jap's designed it...

So why did the Jap's choose a different design for the ones sold here ??

Back to ya...Where were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured? The faulty accelerator assemblies are American made and were only installed in American manufactures TOYOTA'S. This sub-contractor also makes these assemblies for other car makers.Where were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured?
USA is where they were made. Thats why its funny when the good old boys say buy American. It is American

Wait a second love the beast. Are you saying that GM doesn't make anything out of the US. Your wrong. By the way my Camry was made in Kentucky
most cars in japan are sticks/they dont have the same systems/the electrics that are responsible is made in nippon/{japan}/got to do with computers and modules/cars are assembled hereWhere were the parts that caused acceleration problems in Toyota's manufactured?
the parts were made in china which is why toyota will not admit anything
Does a murderer or sodomist admit his crime? Never! And neither does Toyota.
