You see when Toyota was invited into the NASCAR family, they couldn't meet the requirement of using a factory supplied cast iron block.. No foundry in Japan was equipped to make one.. So NASCAR said to forget it, and don't worry about the casting.. Also here are the specs for our next generation engine.. We'll give you a head start on that, so you won't have to develop two engines.. Good luck getting the engine.. My guess is passing emission tests will cost you as much as the engine, if you get it..
Edit: Nope, it takes more than a NASCAR license.. Hendrick Motor Sports ain't gettin' their hands on one of these babies..Where can I get a 358 CID Toyota pushrod Engine?
You can get TRD valve covers if you want them, but that's about it.. lol

Where can I get a 358 CID Toyota pushrod Engine?Um yeah. The real question is WHY do you want to ruin a perfectly good AMERICAN hot rod? As far as finding one well you will probably have to do buy a Toyo motor and do some major mods to it. For example the motor mounts my not line up right with the from, or the tranny my not fight properly which can cause several problems. Instead of spending all the money on all that, why not, just buy 572 c.i. with 500+ h.p. for around 10 grand, and be able to smoke any ricer that comes your way (don't be a fool and race it on the streets). I have 1965 Chevelle that has one and let me tell you it is one heck of feeling getting tossed back in the seat when you mash the gas. If you keep it all GM/Chevy you will get more on resell. I am not saying you have a bad idea. I myself have restored several cars including Camaros. and I am always looking for unique, never been done ideas. I respect the fact that you want to do something different, and encourage you to do so.There several others ways to make your car unique. I suggest going on google and searching for custom Camaros. You can do a lot with a welder and some sheet metal. Custom paint is Always an eye turner. Ghost flames are one of my favorites. Remember to take your time when doing any type custom work on your car. If rush into I can almost guarantee that you will have problems down the road. I have done this myself and literally had problems down the road.
I thought you had a Supra? Did it break down like Toyotas so commonly do? Or did it rust in half, another trait of Toyoduh vehicles.
Mr. Hater,
You do realize your boy Kyle has a '69 numbers matching Camaro don't you? Even he doesn't think so highly of Toy motors.Where can I get a 358 CID Toyota pushrod Engine? He's only trying to get a rise out of us Chevy guys. He doesn't even have a 68 Camaro, if he even has a driver's license.
If Toyota has the best pushrod V8, they wouldn't have had to copy the specs from a small block Chevy.Where can I get a 358 CID Toyota pushrod Engine?
how dare you come into junior nation and say harm to dale jr and the nation... that is not cool and you know how i know it is you the pic the name and the car and the kyle busch so great crap.... gorw up already and stay out of our HOME! that dale built for us!
Pffft. '68 Camaro's came with the best V8 engine ever built. Toyota's only come with glorified lawn mower engines.Where can I get a 358 CID Toyota pushrod Engine?
you should put an aluminum block fuel injected Corvette motor in your chevy.
The last I heard
they are around a $100,000 each in running shape
And you have to have a Na$car license to even buy one
