Can a Toyota Celica become a collectible classic car?

I have a Toyota Celica. This type of car is not being made anymore, the car 10 yrs old . Can this car become a classic or a collectible car. Its considered a sports car so i was told by a "dealer" car sales person. But i am not convinced.Can a Toyota Celica become a collectible classic car?it might since they don't make them anymore

The Celica's that are 1984 and below ARE collectibles, but that's because they were the last Celica's to be Rear-Wheel Drive. Same with the Carolla's, 1986 especially are collectibles, also referred to as the "*8-6". The Celica "85 - 89" will become a collectible in another 20 more years, so you're looking at another 50 - 60 years for yours to become a collectible.
