Will the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota?

GM vehicles are the most defective vehicles on the road. Toyotas are the most reliable. The defects of Toyotas are miniscule compared to GM defects.

But thanks to Pelsoi, the Obama admin nationalized GM. Now the U.S. government has a vested interest in the success of GM. So any regulatory action will be skewed in favor of GM.

Will that conflict of interest be on anybody's mind as the congressional grilling of Toyota features testimony by the president of Toyota today? Do you think he might bring it up?Will the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota? One can only hope so. In their effort to defend government motors the liberals are seemingly on a crusade against the Japanese , ready to villainize them to make their American government run business seem better.

Hah, and you thought that Republicans were the ones that disliked foreigners. Will the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota?
Sadly so much of the American Public is so woefully uninformed, they don't even see the connection. Toyota has the first mandatory recall in decades, and it's being treated as the biggest scandal in History.

Yet when Ford fought tooth and nail against the Firestone recall, while people were being killed, the Govt just treated it as normal business. And once the recall was in motion, they left Ford alone.

What I do find hilarious though,is the US Govt going after Toyota, while running the company that makes the crappiest cars in the Country(GM)

RWEWill the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota? It seems Toyota had that great reputation because it didn't let the cat out of the bag about its problems.

Not even the government sneaked a poor brake design into a Toyota from a few years back.

I know some of the governors of states where Toyota has plants have gone on the offensive, saying much as you have, that the government has an interest in bringing down Toyota, but this ones' on them.

The difference between now and previous auto problems is that we learned from them and don't want that to happen again.

They have know about both the brake problem and the acceleration problem for some time without issuing recalls. In fact since way before GM and TARP.
I hope he does, Government Motors have gone t hell in a hand basket. They also have an agenda, and are in direct competition with Toyota, since the government ows GM it is a violation of anti trust laws to hold hearings, in my opinionWill the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota?Man, you have to step back from that crack pipe once in a while.

Toyota has already admitted that the company ignored customer complaints, tried to poop-poop the problems.

Btw, people have been killed by the defective accelerator problems. Will the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota?
I would still buy a Toyota before a GM or Chrysler. The mafia owned unions killed more people than the stuck gas pedal ever will. Plus, tell that stupid woman that testified in Congress to turn the key off and don't cover up the fact that you were talking on your cell phone by saying you called your husband to say good-bye.

But Ford would be my first choice.
It is on my mind. I keep remembering the Pinto, and Ford making that corporate decision to hide the faulty gas tanks because it would cost less to fight some lawsuits than to make a fix that would prevent people from dying in explosions.

American the Land of the Free and the Home of the Hypocrites???Will the Toyota president mention the conflict of interest of the USA owning GM while grilling Toyota?
Boy I hope so. This is the first major recall that Toyota has ever done. The big three all had other major problems with their vehicles over the years. One that comes to mind is the Ford Pinto.
GM are trash

GM filed bankruptcy in june 2008

Bush nationalized GM

Toyota has recalled millions of cars cause they are killing people

Get your facts right or have your mommy read you the newspapers everyday
LOL that would be awesome, but the Japanese aren't know for being confrontational, especially when responsible for a corporate screw-up.
We can only hope so.

I am no fan of Toyota but the USA should not be owning car companies.

But he will probably be a wimp as most are when confronted by the government.
It is true that Toyota is an American brand now. Obama doesnt care.
not anytime soon. they got their tails between their legs.
Nope.
don't buy into it - it's a smoke and mirror
