Is a 2006 Toyota Camary with 7000 miles in perfect shape better than a brand new 2008 Ford Focus?

I am not sure what to buy. Can someone help me decide? What are the chances of either one needing repairs? I can get a extended warranty on the Toyota and the Ford is covered because it is new.Is a 2006 Toyota Camary with 7000 miles in perfect shape better than a brand new 2008 Ford Focus? The 2006 Camry is a great vehicle. If you do the regular prescribed maintenance on the Camry, my experience is that you will get better reliability and longer life than with the Focus. Your "total cost" - of purchase, upkeep and operation will be lower than that of the Focus. Take notice of the number of taxi's that are Camry's. They are changing to these away from Ford's (usually), because of the lower operating and repair costs.

(Your re-sale value will also remain higher for the life of the vehicle.)

Good luck.Is a 2006 Toyota Camary with 7000 miles in perfect shape better than a brand new 2008 Ford Focus? Both cars are nice, but ford always had issues with reliability and needing lots of repairs. Is a 2006 Toyota Camary with 7000 miles in perfect shape better than a brand new 2008 Ford Focus?Get the Camry, I wouldn't think about the Ford.

My Aunt has a 2005 Camry that has been 100% trouble free (Just like all the other Toyota vehicles she has/had).Is a 2006 Toyota Camary with 7000 miles in perfect shape better than a brand new 2008 Ford Focus?
I would vote for the Camary for reliability, but new is nice too.

Hmm.... what a neat decision, you won't go wrong either way.
