Whats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?

My toyota makes clicking sounds when i turn right...does anyone know the problem? What could i do to fix it?Whats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?Your driver side CV joint is starting to fail. You can let it go for a good while depending on how you drive and weather conditions. Driving through water puddles is very bad. It is almost the same price to buy the parts to fix it as it is to buy the whole axle. You just take out the old and put in the new. A mechanic should take around 1.5 - 2 hours to replace with new axle. With your knowledge, I would estimate it taking you anywhere from 6 - 8 hours. Buying the axle at an auto parts store would cost around $100 - $150. Mechanic's labor would be anywhere from $150 - $200 for the job.Whats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?
CV (constant velocity) joints are bad. They are the little rubber boot things that connect your transmission to the tyres. They click, and as they get worse, they snap, crackle and pop into different pieces. They usually go out one at a time, but it's better to replace both since it's usually a short time from one going out till the other fails.Whats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?Sounds like a your CV joint is going out.

Look behind the front right wheel - is there grease everywhere?

If so, you have tore the boot, dirt and materials have gotten in there and destroyed the joint.

You'll need to take it to a mechanic, it's a moderate job.Whats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?
It's the right hand outer CV (constant velocity) joint. It can be caused by a split boot or it can just be worn out.Whats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?most likely the half shaft or cv shaft you can see the price and order it online at autozone.com although they suck to install.....you can normally let them go for a good while before they are completely done as wellWhats causing my 1995 toyota camry to make clicking noises when i take a sharp right turn?
