How do i change the left side mirror on a 2003 toyota echo?

My girlfriend has a 2003 Toyota echo her left side mirror is manual.She has to roll down her window and move the mirror to where she can see good behind her.I was wondering if is i can just buy the one that has the lever to move it from the inside and replace it with that one.Can it be done?How do i change the left side mirror on a 2003 toyota echo?if toyato makes a mirror like that for that model sure you can if getting the mirror front a salvage yard take the trim on the inside where the controller is and replace it on the inside so that it looks good.
